Nerve cells manufacture a chemical called Dopamine which send signal to that part of brain to control movement in the body. When these nerve cells are damaged it will affect the way we move, this condition is termed as Parkinson’s disease. This disease occurs slowly for a long period of time and may get worse as time goes on.

Parkinson’s disease is also associated with erectile dysfunction in several cases. Brand name SildenafilBrand name Tadalafil or Brand name Vardenafil are commonly prescribed to treat ED.

There is no exact reason how the nerve cells get broken down. Research has been going on to identify the specific cause including abnormal genes, aging and poisons present in the environment. The disease include four main symptoms which include shaking or trembling commonly called as Tremor, muscle stiffness, slow movement and improper balance or walking problems. Tremor is the first symptom and one of the most common signs of the disease. But not everyone with tremor will suffer from Parkinson’s disease. It usually starts in one arm or may include the whole side of the body and gets worsen if not moving the limbs. The symptoms get lessened when we sleep or move those affected limbs. Since this disease affect muscles in various parts of the body it leads to difficulty in swallowing and constipation. Some of the symptoms include blank expression, difficulty in speaking and decreased mental skills.

The disease is diagnosed by conducting neurological exam by the doctor. This includes questions and tests to show how your nerves are working. There is no lab test or blood test to diagnose the disease.

There is no cure for Parkinson’s disease. There are several types of drugs are available to eliminate the symptoms and make life easier to live with disease. Deep brain stimulation is done in which wires are placed in the brain. Eating healthy foods, adequate sleep, physical therapy, occupational therapy etc will help to control the effects of disease.
